Kelli Grant, the Queen of Swing career began on Warner Bros. German affiliate, Eagle Records which topped Belgium charts at #4. The International Recording Artist and award winning Singer, Songwriter and Musician has scored: EIGHT - #1 hits on Independent & International charts; charted 15 top 10 Singles; 4 top 10 Albums from the 11 CD's she has on the market. She won Female Artist of the Year is a 2 time Female Artist of the Year Nominee and was the only female nominee on the list for RMA Artist of the Year. She is a Texas State Musician Nominee with honors including induction into the Western Swing Hall of Fame, the World Who's Who Jazz Cabaret Singers - Federation of American Musicians, New York, NY and the Heritage Who’s Who ... Registration, Library of Congress, Washington, D.C..

More recently she was inducted, into the Marquis Who's Who in America for being an Award-winning Recording Artist and an Inventor (Patent #: 10,695,605 Toteable Treadstep). March 2022
Kelli's CD's have received 4 & 5 star reviews from around the world with French Music critic, Bernard Boyat proclaiming her Swing-a-Billy CD "Superbes" for her remake of Louis Prima's "5 mos. 2 wks. 2 Days". (Side note: Kelli wrote the 3 verses) Kelli was one of only 209 artists selected to be on the Texas Touring Roster being nominated and sponsored by the TCA for inclusion in the Mid-America Arts Alliance Touring Roster with subsidized funding by the National Endowment for the Arts.

Kelli performance at the Marshall Civic Center received a standing ovation and she was publicly declared, "an exceptional entertainer" by Marshall Regional Arts Director, Geraldine Mauthe while she appeared a guest speaker at the Texas Arts Exchange Conference. Ms. Mauthe boastingly made her claim to surrounding members attending the conference of Kelli’s performance.

She has headlined in the biggest venues being listed in the Isle of Capri Casino Blue Book as "One of their BEST SHOWS" and appeared with some of the biggest stars in the business including; Carl Perkins, The Crystals, and "Mr. Action" Roy Moss. She was a Vocalist Nominee for the Grammy Board of Directors Texas Chapter and her "Swing ‘n Blues" CD is on the music critic list of Top Jazz Album for Henri Woode’s cover. Kelli is a licensed BMI writer penning such hits as: Don't Mess with Texas, Don't Mess with Me (One is about litter the other is about trash ;o) ) I Wouldn't Go..., The Way Love Use to Be, B-A-D BAD, Swing Me Back to Texas and many more. She has the ability to sell to all ages and genres as she has been listed, recognized and charted in: Blues, Jazz, Pop, Rock-a-Billy and Western Swing. Kelli’s patriotic hit, "I Wouldn't Go…" honors not only her Father but the Greatest Generation and was heard on radio stations across the country for the 70th Anniversary of Pearl Harbor, 2011.

Kelli graduated in music receiving multiple scholarships including the Vivian Thing Scholarship for Music Excellence. She is a magnificent musician playing many instruments on her recordings: drums, clarinet, sax, organ, banjo and whistles on Walkin' My Baby Back Home (Swings & Sings, album) But her forte is PIANO coupled with an unsurpassed left hand BASS LINE.

She headlined with music legend, Carl "Blue Suede Shoes" Perkins at the Roy Orbison Festival in Wink, Texas. While she and her husband were having breakfast with the legend he turned to Kelli and said, "Kid you got a style all your own and it SWINGS". (Carl Perkins, 1994) After working with many artist; The Former Texas Playboys, Rock-a-Billy legend, "Mr. Action" Roy Moss and others taking notice of her unique piano style in, 2007 Kelli registered the "Queen of Swing" as Federal Trademark.

Kelli has written many musical productions based on her diverse recording catalog:: Swing-a-Billy, Honky Tonk Swing, Rock-a-Billy U.S.A. (featuring the late Mercury Recording, "Mr. Action" Roy Moss), "I Wouldn't Go ...", Swings & Sings, Softer Side of Swing, Don't Mess with Texas, Swing Like That, Swing 'n Blues and Blues to Me!. Along with her self-titled release through Warner Bros. affiliate, Eagle Records, Aachen, Germany totaling 11.

Kelli's late husband former Texas Playboy, Johnny Patterson asked Kelli to perform with his group of Former Texas Playboys in a musical production, "Always A Texas Playboy". As result she is the only woman to ever front The Former Texas Playboys LIVE! in Concert releasing 3 albums in that genre. She also wrote, "Swing Me Back to Texas", "Swings & Sings" album which charted to number #4 in Western Swing and wrote a musical production of the same title. The productions tells stories about the life and times, as well as what it was like working with the King of Western Swing, Bob Wills as told to her by "the boys who made noisce known as Western Swing," (a line in the song) The Texas Playboys.
